We make every effort to give back to the many communities we serve through altruistic practices. We strive to make a significant difference in the many communities we reside in by offering areas of volunteerism, serving the poor, bringing meals to homes in times of illness, recovery or loss, and hospice, hospital, and home visits. Participation in quarterly events to assist our partners in need through our work with the underserved is paramount in our community outreach ministry. We consistently exemplify Acts 20:35 “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This is one of the many belief systems of this ministry.
We are currently accepting donations of everyday necessities. Here’s what we are seeking:
Clothing items: New Long John Underwears, New Underwears, New Fleece Throws, and New Socks. Hygiene Items: New Toothbrushes and Travel Size Toothpaste. Food Items: Plain Granola Bars and Packaged Crackers.
To the question, “How Can I Help?” we now see a possibility of a deeper answer than we might once have expected, We can, of course, help through all that we do. But at the deepest level we help through who we are.” ~ Ram Dass & Paul Gorman, in How Can I Help?
“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” – Khalil Gibran
